Tenth Avenue North – You Are More

This song by Tenth Avenue North is a powerful reminder, that YOU ARE MORE than the mistakes you have made, the regrets you hold, the sins you have committed. I am sure there are many out there who have many regrets, things they did, people they hurt, things they wish they can take back. There are also people who right now at this very moment are feeling the weight of some sin they are dealing with. Sometimes it’s so easy to want to turn away from God simply because we feel so undeserving. We sometimes feel like we can’t forgive ourselves for the things we’ve done or perhaps it eats us that we fell into the same temptation we committed to turn away mere weeks ago.

Yet in such moments we have to remember, that in the eyes of God, “you are more”.

Like the prodigal son, we are called a “child of God”, someone God loves unconditionally. Like a loving father, our mistakes will not separate us from him if we bring it before God and ask for forgiveness.
